The Powerhouse Wood Splitting Maul 900 has a Thermoplatic (TPR) handle and C45 carbon steel drop forged head cooled in an oil bath, achieving 53-59 HRC (Rockwell Hardness Scale) through heat treatment. It has 3x the chopping impact of comparable products.
